Garlic Butter Avocado Toast
Crispy bread toasted in garlic butter and topped with a fresh avocado mixture with tomato, onion, parsley, and lemon.
- 3 slices bread
- Butter for frying
- 2 –3 garlic cloves lightly crushed
- 2 ripe avocados
- 1 small onion finely chopped
- 2 garlic cloves minced
- 2 tomatoes diced
- Fresh parsley chopped
- 1 –2 tbsp lemon juice
- Salt to taste
- Black pepper to taste
Heat butter in a pan over medium heat. Add lightly crushed garlic cloves.
Toast the bread on both sides until golden and crispy.
In a bowl, mash the avocados.
Add onion, minced garlic, tomatoes, and parsley.
Season with lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
Spread the avocado mixture over the warm toast.
Serve immediately.
- Add chili flakes for heat.
- Top with a fried egg for extra protein.
