Lentil Banana Brownies

Flourless Lentil Banana Brownies

They contain no flour and no refined sugar, yet they still deliver a satisfying brownie-like texture that becomes even better after cooling.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw lentils
  • 2 eggs
  • 60 ml milk
  • 3 tablespoons agave syrup
  • 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
  • 1 banana
  • 10 g baking powder
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions
 

  • Soak lentils in water for 6–8 hours or overnight.
  • Rinse well and drain.
  • Blend lentils with banana until very smooth.
  • Add eggs, milk, agave syrup, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
  • Blend again into a thick, smooth chocolate batter.
  • Pour into a parchment-lined baking pan and smooth the top.
  • Add chocolate chips, nuts, or coconut flakes if desired.
  • Bake at 350°F (180°C) for 30–40 minutes.
  • Cool completely before slicing.
  • Chill for a denser brownie texture if desired.

Notes

Blend the batter until completely smooth for the best soft, brownie-like texture.
