Wash and dry the cucumbers, then slice them into thin rounds.
Thinly slice the onion. If the onion is too strong, soak it in cold water for 5–10 minutes, then drain.
In a small bowl, mix sour cream, lemon juice, garlic, dill, salt, and black pepper.
Place cucumbers and onion in a large bowl.
Add the dressing just before serving.
Toss gently until evenly coated.
