Baked Cottage Cheese Oat Patties with Yogurt Sauce

Ingredients

For The Patties

  • 1 onion peeled and finely chopped or grated
  • 1 cup cottage cheese
  • cup oatmeal
  • to taste bagel seasoning

For The Yogurt Lemon Dill Sauce

  • 4 tbsp yogurt
  • to taste juice of ½ lemon
  • to taste dil inely chopped
  • to taste salt
  • to taste dried garlic
  • to taste dlack pepper
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp maple syrup

Instructions
 

  • Peel and finely chop or grate the onion.
  • Add cottage cheese, egg and onion to a bowl and mix.
  • Stir in the oatmeal and bagel seasoning until well combined, then let the mixture rest briefly.

  • Spoon the mixture onto the tray and shape it into small round patties.
  • Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C / 360°F for about 20 minutes, until set and lightly golden.
  • In a small bowl, mix yogurt, lemon juice, chopped dill, salt, dried garlic and black pepper.
  • Add olive oil and maple syrup to the sauce and stir until smooth.
  • Serve the warm patties with the yogurt lemon dill sauce.
