Air Fryer Honey Walnut Bites

Ingredients

  • 2 cups walnuts
  • to taste honey
  • 1 tbsp  sesame seeds
  • 2 tsp poppy seeds
  • to taste salt
  • 1 tsp sunflower oil or melted coconut oil

Instructions
 

  • Place the walnuts in a bowl and cover them with water
  • Let them soak for 20–30 minutes
  • Drain the walnuts well in a sieve and pat them dry with paper towels
  • Transfer the dried walnuts to a clean bowl
  • Add the honey, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, salt and oil
  • Mix well until all the walnuts are evenly coated
  • Place the coated walnuts in the air fryer basket in a single layer
  • Air fry at 320°F for about 15 minutes
  • Stir or shake the basket every 3 minutes so the walnuts cook evenly and do not burn
  • Transfer the walnuts to parchment paper, spread them out and let them cool completely until crisp
