Bring the eggs and milk to room temperature
Grind whole oats into a fine flour if needed and measure 3/4 cup
Combine eggs, milk, oat flour, vanilla and salt in a blender or bowl and blend or whisk until smooth
Preheat the air fryer to 200°C (400°F) and place an air‑fryer‑safe pan inside with 1 tsp butter
Heat until the butter is melted and sizzling
Wash and dry the berries, slicing larger strawberries if necessary
Carefully remove the hot pan, swirl the butter to coat the base and sides and pour in the batter
Scatter a handful of berries over the batter
Bake in the air fryer at 200°C (400°F) for about 10 minutes until puffed and golden
Serve immediately with extra berries and your choice of maple syrup, yoghurt or icing sugar
